Dumping Him Via Social Networks:
Suddenly announcing, on Facebook or Twitter, for example is the best way to dump a guy you want to hurt. He’ll be the last to know, and it’s public humiliation. Be aware that he can use it to get back at you in the same way. You might be giving him a great idea of his own revenge.
Dumping Him Over the Phone:
It’s more nerve-wracking than writing an email or letter, but easier than telling him to his face you’re dumping him. It also gives him the chance to hang up on you if he wants to, and reply to you in real-time. It depends on what kind of reaction you expect he’ll have to the news you’re dumping him before he can dump you.
Dumping Him By Mail:
Whether it’s writing him an email or an old-fashioned snail mail, writing a letter can be both cleansing and cathartic. It gives you more time to say everything you need to say clearly. It also gives him a memento to remember you by, if that’s what you want.
